I signed with Zoie Health to enhance their eCommerce operations, with a focus on the B2C sector.

Leveraging my expertise in marketing, design strategy, and automation, I played a pivotal role in improving user experience, launching innovative solutions, and driving audience engagement.

Initial Analysis

The initial homepage design was functional but failed to scale.

It did not adhere to the Law of UX design which states that: “Users prefer your site to work the same way as all the other sites they already know.”

Competitors, such as South Africa's Dischem eCommerce platform, demonstrated a better grasp of usability for similar audiences.

Below are some of the pain points:

Limited Promo Space:

The design couldn’t support multiple campaigns, leading to clutter and increased cognitive load.

Overuse of Popups in a single session:

Excessive popups disrupted the user journey, increasing the bounce rate.

Low Product Visibility:

Key products lacked prominence, despite Zoie’s wide product catalog.

Recommended Action

I spearheaded a complete homepage redesign to tackle these issues:
